I was just trying out IE 8 beta, which is just released, although it has some useful features, but there is a bug in it.
When you are using gmail chat with IE 8, it wont scroll down in the message window, it is very annoying. Hope they fix this soon.

I have started using Twitter sometime back and found it pretty impressive as one can also use it to publicize their sites or blogs.
But recently there seems to be a bug in it, as it is not relaying (forwarding) all the messages of the people i am following to my selected device (Cellphone).

After the failure of windows vista with lukewarm response from the users, Microsoft has decided to launch windows 7 which will be based on vista only sometime in late 2009 or early 2010.

It will be good for viewing photos. This time also they are not care of the compatibility issues before launching which is most crucial to the users.

Hardware has to be upgraded 1^st and then the software should be launched, lets see how this launch will be taken by the public.

Indian intelligence agencies proves its metal by showing that they are able to crack the 256 bit algorithm code used by blackberries to send mails.

Initially Indian government was not permitting blackberries to launch in India as it could lead to some serious security issues regarding sending emails from these devices and the government was not able to track them. They used to work only on the 8 bit algorithm.

This could be a hoax also, that they are now able to track the emails sent from these devices, just to create their image in the minds of the terrorists that "you are being watched".

Google is working on sending group sms which is already established concept by other providers like 160by2.com, twitter, indyarocks etc. to name few. The only difference I found is that there won't be any ads in the text messages sent using the Google channels. That means users get the full 160 letters. Otherwise its the same concept.
Google has to stop this copying thing and need to come out with new innovative products. Google also launched google video which was a failure because Youtube was already well established in the market and finally they had to acquire youtube, it is a waste of resources.

My experience with Google lively was mixed in the sense that I found some features really exciting while there are many things that I didn’t quite like. To start with, it’s similar to the second life. The features that I like are the animation kisses, hugs, fights etc. There was problem with the navigation, I mean the arrow keys are just opposite, after all its beta.

The things they can add upon can be the details of the faces like moustaches and beard.

And yes, this thing needs a good internet connection and a good configuration PC, my browser hanged after I am over with the game.

Although its a good thing that yahoo has done by providing new email ids, but the problem is that when you go to sign in, you have to write the whole address like priya@ymail.com to login which is really a pain and yahoo also doesn't allow on its page to remember the username. Yahoo should look into this problem.

Although gmail is an award winning email service, but one I would like to add is that sometimes people make the gmail ids and then they forget about it ie. they stop using it, so gmail should look into this and deactivate their account like hotmail so that some other user can use that id.

Another complaint that is coming from the infosys employees is that they are not assigned the project in which they are given the training i.e they are given the training in .NET and they will put you in some other VB project.

Now Indian Govt. has asked the cell phone operators like airtel, idea, vodaphone etc. not to issue cell phones to the children below 16 years of age and asked the pregnant women not to use them as this could hamper the brain development of the child. But children are so much used to it that it is almost impossible to take away from them. It is not a luxury anymore, but a necessity. I used this service for a month and i am using airtel (Delhi) postpaid connection. So the receiving is free but there is charge of Rs.3 per sms that you send to twitter website which further gets relayed to your twitter friends.

I was trying the new firefox 3 and the bug that i found while using rediff.com. When i use IE7, it automatically remembers my password if i i choose it to remember my password, but no such option comes in firefox3, even if it comes, it doesn't remember the password for rediff.com.

Airtel Broadband -excellent service

I have been enjoying the broadband service of Airtel for over 4 years and never faced a problem, that's too good for an ISP. Now I have got a sms from them stating that they will be down for 6 hours during the night, I think that will be fine with the users, as they served them flawlessly and they too need some maintainance. Atleast they have notified their users, unlike other ISP which do their maintainance during the peak hours without even notifying their users.

Orkut - New Themes

Finally orkut is coming out with new features and not merely copying the facebook. This time they have rolled out some themes to dress your profile page a bit, but i still find it pretty childish, they can do better.
Moreover, i don't understand, why dont they go the open source way, it gives a push to this social networking site. I was reading "The Google Story" where they mentioned that they prefer to go the open source way unlike microsoft, so why is orkut an exception.
